At my sister's prompting, I sent an abbreviated version of this blog post to our local newspaper's letters to the editor. They responded by sending a photographer/videographer to capture some pictures. I am pleased to say I did not totally humiliate myself, though I do come off as a little school-marmish. Guess that's just me.
