I may have gotten carried away . . .

My brother Andrew holding my nephew James, my nephew Drew doing a happy dance,
his dad Jason behind him, woman smuggling a pillow into the stadium in the background,
and my sister-in-law Mary Ann
The other day, my niece (who blogs at Diane, Diapers, and Drool) posted that adorable picture of the family enjoying a Chicago Fire soccer game. Ordinarily, Drew (in the foreground) wears an adorable, but slightly fake smile in photos.

See?

Drew at Vacation Bible School with the teacher he fell in love with.
He's kind of a gorgeous little boy -- and always has been. As a firstborn, he's probably been photographed more than Mount Rushmore (my own photographs included),  and he has learned how to turn on the charm.

But that soccer picture cracked me up. In part because it reminded me of the "Happy Leo" meme that went around a few years ago. You remember . . . this one:

So I told my niece that Drew needed to be turned into a meme. Well, today (after some bad news from the vet), I felt like playing with Photoshop. I may have gotten a tad carried away. You decide.

Who doesn't get excited about cake?

Or candy?

And Drew is just NUTS about trucks, especially garbage trucks.
Drew has also shown considerable fondness for cute little girls.

He's a little young for roller coasters, but his expression sure fits.

And then I thought about movie posters.

His full name is . . . Andrew!
Aside: maybe Drew could star in the live-action prequel. Seriously.

And wouldn't it be fun if he could hop ON a plane?

Oh -- and look! Here comes Happy Leo!
But then I had to include at least one classic.

They need to do a sequel. With a baby.
And, finally  . . .

I think he would absolutely steal the movie.
(I love this one so much that I actually downloaded a font for it.)
So . . . what have you been doing with your creativity?

UPDATE: Here is a png file you can use to create your own Excited Drew meme.

    1. Ah, yes, I do remember Sad Keanu. Also, grimacing Beyonce. I think most kids go through the fake smile period. For the longest time my youngest used to smile with his eyes closed and his mouth wide, wide open. Not a good look.
