They made a BIG mess!
Which they hauled away.
But while they were digging, they accidentally did this:
OUCH!
Not to worry: they'll be repairing those bricks. (I think we found some while they were excavating.)
This reminds me of a number of books I used to read to the boys over and over: "Make Way for the Highway" and "The Truck Book" and such. Little Golden Books may come a-calling.
